Uncle Joe's Roofing — Call Your Uncle.

Why Uncle Joe's

Our Story

Who's behind the name, where the anchor comes from, and why we do things the way we do.

A small shore cottage with yellow shutters cut with white anchors
Yellow shutters, white anchors: the look folks knew as "the Uncle Joe house."

I’m an Army veteran who served in Iraq, and I’ve spent more than ten years in home improvement, including six years owning and running my own roofing company. I’ve seen this trade done right and done wrong. Uncle Joe’s exists to do it right: honest pricing, clean job sites, and a roof built to protect your family for decades.

Why “Uncle Joe’s”?

The name comes from my great-great-uncle Joe, the first Catholic Bishop of Allentown. His beach house on Long Beach Island, with its yellow shutters and white anchors, was a landmark folks simply called “the Uncle Joe house.” It stood for steadiness and welcome. That’s the standard I hold this company to, and it’s why our logo is an anchor.

Your neighbors

My family and I make our home here in the Conshohocken area, and these are our neighbors. We’re a roofing-only company with our office in Blue Bell, working in Conshohocken, Malvern, Paoli and the towns around them. No storm-chasing. No pressure. Just good roofs, done right.

One note on the fine print: on paperwork you’ll see Fortress Siding. That’s the company Uncle Joe’s Roofing operates under — same owner, same office. We gave the roofing work its own name because that’s all it does.

When you need a roof done right, call your uncle.

"Owner-led" isn't a slogan here. The same person who inspects your roof writes the quote, is on site when the crew shows up, and walks the finished job with you. No hand-off to a salesperson. No call center.
